Eddie Ockenden is arguably one of Australia’s greatest ever hockey players, having represented the Kookaburras more than any other player. 
 
His international career started back in 2006, when he represented the Kookaburras for the first time in Malaysia. 
 
Ockenden has won a number of medals for Australia, including gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. 
 
His most recent triumph came when he was part of the silver medal winning team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, alongside other Grays Hockey players Matt Dawson and Flynn Ogilvie.
